Over the years we have supplied thousands of unique rooms with our antique reproduction box beams. These beams, often accompanied by corbels, brackets, and beam mantels, are delivered to the job site pre-finished and ready for easy installation.

There are no short-cuts to a wonderful patina on an old-world finish –  it’s all handwork. We labor over our multi-step finishing process with painstaking attention to detail. We offer different levels of distressing from heavy hand-hewn to standard-rustic and we've also built beams with very light distressing.

The patina in all of our colors is achieved with multiple glazes. We offer twelve standard colors, and over the years we have matched hundreds of customized color samples provided by our clients. There is no limit to color and our passion to achieve the stained and painted finishes you desire.

All of our beams are custom made to order – we have no standard sizes. It’s really important to both Woodbrooke and our clientele that all beams are scaled to the size of each room and to that room’s particular beam configuration. Beams can be as small as 5"H x 5"W and we've fabricated beams as large as 22”H x 16”W x 30’L.

To determine the best size for your beams, consult with your local design professional or you can draw on our experience gained by working with thousands of rooms to assist you.

Our beams are very well built using special lock-and-miter joints. They are glued, clamped, nailed, and are then reinforced with glued wooden-corner-bead and wooden blocks. If we glue up extra length and width for large beams, all joints are backed with glued plywood and heavily stapled.

They are never coming apart.

Our beams are lightweight and incredibly easy to install. Typically, the local trim carpenters do the installation. Even as professional as they are, it’s always a possibility that beams can get scraped or scratched during the install. With Woodbrooke, that’s not a problem.

Our beams are very easy to touch up with the products we supply along with your order. We also ship matched color putty to fill any nail and screw holes.

Our beams can fit around existing support structures like steel “I” beams and other support structures. We have even made beams to wrap around older beams that were originally installed too small in scale, or even to hide older out-of-date finishes.

We can build a beam to fit around literally anything.

Lastly, but not least, our beams are surprisingly affordable compared to similar products that we have seen advertised. Beams that require no extra glue up will run around $27.00 per linear foot, and we also offer significant discounts to professionals – builders, architects and designers.

Call us for your pricing. We deliver within a 300 mile radius of Kansas City and can arrange delivery with our private shipper anywhere in the United States.
