Since the Industrial Revolution, you and I have grown up in an “Age of Steel.” It’s hard to imagine what our modern lives would look like without this magic material. I love the history and I try to imagine what it must have been like to discover that you can get ore out of the ground, get it super-hot, and somehow form it together to shape or mold it into something useful and beautiful. It has taken thousands of years to perfect the process.

Thankfully, today you can buy sheets and bars of steel fairly inexpensively. We even buy ingots of bronze for some of our products.
Over the years, we’ve spent thousands of hours producing decorative elements for our clients who are passionate about the aged, distressed look of hand forged metals. It’s a real pleasure and passion of ours to fire up the forge, pick up a hammer and tongs, and create something as delicate as a rose, or as simple as an iron bracket, hand forged nails or hardware for a door. There are so many creative and affordable ways to combine hand forged iron with distressed wood elements in our products.
